Say hello to a number of new businesses in Agnes Water/1770
The past year has been a strange one with many changes for many people.
Here in Agnes Water and the Town of 1770, the past 12 months have brought us quite a few new businesses and a bit of art. Something new and exciting for our little town(s).
1. 1770 GELATO CO
What is a seaside holiday town without an ice cream shop?! No more! We have one!
A brand new gelato shop has opened up in the centre of Agnes Water.
They serve more than 30 flavours of premium gelato made with local milk, including vegan options.
You can find the 1770 Gelato shop on the corner of Captain Cook Drive and Round Hill Road - opposite the Caltex servo.
2. ROUND HILL ROAD PIZZA/BAR
Also located in the heart of Agnes Water, at Endeavour Plaza, is a new pizza place. Dine in or takeout - your choice. And the choice is difficult with more than a dozen different pizzas (including gluten free options) to choose from. Hand made dough, fresh ingredients and a great location have the locals already loving this place.
3. KATRINA'S BAR
Brand new to the Town of 1770 is Katrina’s Bar at the 1770 Marina. Enjoy a cocktail, wine or cold beer with views over the 1770 Marina. The perfect place for a sunset drink or two. You can also try a cheese platter or grab some tasty fish and chips from the Rusty Pelican next door.

7. DRIFTIN' COCONUT GENERAL STORE
Another new addition at the 1770 Marina, and a very handy place for those staging in 1770. The Driftin' Coconut is a little store that has all your essentials and that milk and bread you forgot to buy but also ice cream and pies.
8. POLE ART TRAIL
Not a new business as such but a wonderful new addition to Agnes Water/1770 is a series of painted power poles. A group of artists got together and with Energy Queensland's permission, painted and beautified 127 power poles throughout the town. You can read a bit more about how this all came together here:
