Who it’s for: This tour is specifically for families with children aged 4–12. If there are no children in this age group in your party, please choose our Nature or Sunset Tour instead.

This was such a great experience for the whole family. The kids loved spotting wildlife and the adults enjoyed the relaxing paddle and gorgeous views. It’s rare to find an activity that ticks every box for all ages — but this one did.

Weight limit
Maximum weight per person is 120kg. The combined weight limit in a double kayak is 190kg.
Can it get wet?
Assume EVERYTHING can get wet. Don't bring things that aren't going to survive a fall into saltwater!
Family Kayak Setup
We use double and triple kayaks depending on your family group. Children paddle with an adult, with at least one adult for every two children.
Wildlife Sightings
Wildlife is wild, so sightings can’t be guaranteed. What we see varies with the tides, season and route, but we’ll always choose the best area to explore on the day.
Weather & Tides
Wind and tides affect every tour. The Family Tour only runs when conditions are suitable for young children.
