KAYAK WITH YOUR DOG
Kayaking with your dog is a great way to bond and spend time together
We are a dog friendly business and encourage you to bring your dog along for a paddle. Most dogs love the water and they all love spending time with their humans. It's such a good way to spend quality time with your furry best friend, bond and experience the great outdoors together.
If it's the first time for you and your dog to go kayaking, we are happy to give you some helpful tips and hints.
-
Dogs are welcome to join you on a kayak hire, however they are not allowed to come on our guided tours. This is due to us stopping in national - and conservation parks, where dogs are not allowed, and as courtesy to other customers on the tour who may not love dogs as much as we do.
-
The best time to kayak with your dog is at mid to low tide. The sandbanks will be exposed giving you the opportunity to stop, rest and your furry friend can run around in some soft sand.
-
We do not supply life jackets for dogs, if your dog needs one, please byo.
-
Take a leash, water and a bowl. Maybe bring a ball or your dogs favourite toy.
-
Your dog can join you and someone else in one of our triple kayaks, or you can use a single kayak.
