The Town of 1770 is the ideal location to go for a paddle in a kayak.
Why not hire a kayak and explore the beauty of Round Hill Creek on your own. Pack a picnic and head to the sandbar or a secluded beach, look for dolphins and stingrays, watch birds, relax, paddle and enjoy yourself!
If you have never kayaked before, this is the perfect location to get started. The warm, calm waters of the protected Round Hill Creek, the natural beauty of the area and the friendly team at Liquid Adventures will get you hooked on kayaking in no time!
We will give you directions and recommendations on where to go depending on weather and tide conditions.
Some days the conditions may not be suitable for beginners, please have a chat to us if you are unsure about the conditions or your abilities.

1770 Liquid Adventures offer daily* beach hire of single, double and triple quality Kayaks. Note: our triple kayaks fit two adults and a small child.

During the weekends and every day during school holidays, you can find us on the beach in 1770, just past the boat ramp and marina.

Alcohol
Please refrain from consuming alcohol prior to kayaking.
Kayak Hire Prices
SINGLE KAYAKS
$25 one hour
$10 every extra hour
DOUBLE/TRIPLE KAYAKS
$35 one hour
$10 every extra hour
Every kayak hire includes a dry bag to keep phones, keys and other belongings dry and safe.
We accept cash or cards.
Weight limit
Maximum weight per person is 120kg.
The combined weight limit in a double kayak is 190kg.
General tips
Dry bag hire is included - great for phones, cameras and car keys.
Make sure you can tell the time (bring a watch or phone).
All hires include paddling vests (mandatory for kids 12 and younger).
Take water with you!
Be prepared to get wet.

We get affected by wind and tide and some days can be easier than others...please contact us if you are unsure about the weather or your abilities or fitness level.
Age restrictions
Minimum age 3 year old.
Children to be accompanied by adults.
In general, the minimum age to paddle a single kayak is 14, but in reality it will depend on the conditions on the day.
