Before You Book

Experience: No kayaking experience needed.

Fitness: Moderate fitness required; you’ll paddle for around 3 hours with stops and need to get in and out of the kayak.

Age: 10+, Each child under 18 must paddle with an adult in their kayak. We normally require one adult per child when booking, however exceptions may be possible depending on the children’s ages, paddling ability and the conditions. Please contact us before booking if your group does not meet the one-adult-per-child requirement.

Kayaks: Double kayaks are normally used; solo travellers may be paired or use a single kayak depending on numbers.

Conditions: The exact route changes with the wind and tides so we can choose the best area to explore that day.

We did the nature tour with a very knowledgeable local guide. She explained everything about the local flora, birdlife and marine life. Taking us past the mangrove forests, into a little stream and over the sandbanks. Providing information about everything we found. We managed to see loads of bird life and plenty of stingrays.
I would highly recommend this beautiful little gem and supporting a local buisness.

Weight limit
Maximum weight per person is 120kg. The combined weight limit in a double kayak is 190kg.
Alcohol
Please refrain from consuming alcohol prior to the tour.
Double kayaks
We use double kayaks. If you are travelling by yourself or in a group with an uneven number, we may pair you up with someone else or ask you to paddle a single kayak.
Can it get wet?
Assume EVERYTHING can get wet. Don't bring things that aren't going to survive a fall into saltwater!

Wildlife sightings vary with the tides, season and route. We’ll always choose the best area to explore on the day, but sightings can never be guaranteed.
