If it is overcast, will the sunset tour still go ahead?
Absolutely! The sunset is only a small part of our 2.5hr tour and we will go ahead if it is cloudy. There is never a guarantee that the sunset will be beautiful, as nature can be unpredictable.
Do you cancel a tour if it rains?
Not necessarily. Light rain usually isn’t a problem, but we may cancel if conditions are unsafe.
Do you refund if the tour is cancelled?
You will get a 100% refund if we cancel the tour.
What happens if the weather or tides aren’t suitable?
Wind and tides affect kayaking in 1770, so conditions play a big part in where and when we paddle. Tour routes can change so we can choose the best area on the day, and kayak hire is weather permitting. If you’re unsure about the forecast, conditions or your fitness level, give us a call and have a chat.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within 48hrs of departure time incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with more than 48hrs notice incur an administration charge of 10% of total booking fee. We encourage customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.Bookings that do not meet our age/adult supervision requirements will be cancelled. Any non-refundable booking and payment processing fees incurred will be deducted from the refund.
